Dear Valued Customer,

On June 9, 2009, John C. Olin, our friend and owner of Higher Gear, Inc. passed away suddenly. To properly observe John’s passing and in respect of his memory, the staff of Higher Gear temporarily closed both the Wilmette and Highland Park stores. We are now pleased to announce that the Highland Park location has reopened for business and will continue to serve your cycling needs at its regular business hours. The Wilmette location will remain closed for the time being.

Larry, Nate, Jim, Brooks and the rest of the Higher Gear staff look forward to preserving John’s love of cycling and business ethic by providing you with the same excellent cycling resources and service you have come to expect from all of us at Higher Gear.
